At Burgin Manor we pride ourselves on the entertainment
we provide for our residents. We understand that this
is a main ingredient to enriching their lives. At
Burgin Manor we provide entertainment for the whole
family to enjoy together, providing lasting memories
and occasions where parents, children and grandchildren
can bond in an enjoyable and loving environment.
Below is some of the great entertainment we brought to our residents and their families in 2007: |
|
- The Blue Suede Crew - which includes Scott Wattles
as Elvis and Keith Furry as Johnny Cash. Scott
is a wonderful charismatic entertainer that who
has been recognized as one of the top Elvis Tribute
Artist in the US and Canada.
- Bruce Borders – Considered the Mayor of
Rock N’ Roll Elvis Impersonator
- Valentines Day Party – Magician Bill Coomer
entertained us during our Valentine’s Day
party, which is always fun for our residents.
- Easter Entertainment - Our Easter Egg Hunt is
very popular with our residents, staff and especially
the children. Residents love to see the children
enjoy the surprises they find. Always a great success,
this year's entertainment included the popular Matt
Barber.
- We enjoyed a return visit from Cliff the Drifter
this summer. Cliff has come to be a favorite of
our Burgin Manor residents. Resident Thelma Farlow
even wrote a song and passed it on to Cliff when
he was here, Cliff liked the song so much he put
it on his newest CD and sent Thelma a copy. “He
did such a wonderful job singing my song, I can’t
wait till he returns for his Christmas program in
December,” said Thelma.
