The
ASPEN Wing (our Alzheimer’s
and other Special Needs Wing) is an entire division devoted
to meeting the complex needs of dementia residents. Established
in 1994 ASPEN is staffed by highly trained and experienced
caregivers who have the skill, patience and sensitivity to
provide for the Special needs of this fragile population,
making the ASPEN wing the region’s most progressive
center for residents with Alzheimer’s. In
this safe and secure environment with a high resident-staff
ratio, residents are monitored 24 hours a day.
We offer two separate groups of activities,
depending on the functioning level of the resident. Each group
receives 7 – 9
hours of supervised activities to keep them occupied and stimulated.
Because Burgin Manor is a preferred provider, families have
the reassurance that their loved ones can live at our center
for the rest of their lives. |
