we have been owned and operated by the Axelbaum
family whose dedication to the care of the elderly has

Richland County and throughout Illinois.
Comfortably located in a lovely residential area of Olney,
within two blocks of Richland Memorial Hospital, Burgin Manor
is ranked among the finest and most complete nursing centers
in southern Illinois. Our 156-bed nursing home includes the ASPEN
Wing, an entire division devoted to Alzheimer’s and
special needs residents. Burgin Manor is also the only nursing
facility to offer The
Suites, the ultimate in nursing home living, featuring
a spacious private dining room, expansive private and semi-private
rooms, with bay windows overlooking a landscaped courtyard,
and a Jacuzzi bathing pool.
We are also the only comprehensive rehabilitation
center to offer the Going
Home Program, which thoroughly prepares our residents and
their caregivers for a successful – and rapid – return
home.
